As a member of the Kugoni Trio, the Malibran Quartet, the Duo Andaluza and the Argenta Trio, Nicolas Dupont has performed in major European venues such as the Palais des Beaux-Arts and Flagey (Brussels), Wigmore Hall, St Martin-in-the Fields (London)… He also took part in festivals such as Musica Mundi (BE), Encuentro de Musica de Santander (SP), Pablo Casals Festival (FR), and Buma Classical (NL), Hellensmusic (UK), performing with Yuzuko Horigome, Justus Grimm, Máté Szűcs, Mihaela Martin, Pascal Moragues, Rohan De Silva, Michel Arrignon, Marie Hallynck, Gaby Van Riet, Michel Béroff, Lucas Blondeel, Daniel Blumenthal, Roeland Hendrikx and Valentin Erben.

Nicolas Dupont has commissioned and premiered over fifty pieces and has been broadcasted by Belgian, British, Italian, Swiss and Dutch radio and television. His discography includes the CD’s ‘Mockingbird’ (2015), ‘Fingerprints 2’ (2016),‘Timelapse’ (2016), a CD dedicated to the music of Leoš Janáček (2018). 2019 releases include a CD with Emil Hartmann chamber music, 'Fingerprints 3', and new albums with the Kugoni Trio and the Duo Andaluza.

Nicolas Dupont’s teachers have included Dejan Mijajev, Yuzuko Horigome (Royal Conservatory of Brussels), Itamar Golan (chamber music, CNSM of Paris) and Rodney Friend (Royal Academy of Music, London).

Passionate about teaching, Nicolas serves –after teaching the violin for two years at King’s College London- as the assistant to Mrs Yuzuko Horigome in Brussels.
